The Negotiators’ agreement, Section 2.5, committed Royal Mail and CWU to urgently improve and restore the Quality of Service for all products, including achieving our USO obligations.
RMG and CWU recognise that restoring Quality of Service is critical to Royal Mail’s future success and our ability to retain customers and grow the business. Therefore, in accordance with Section 2.5, the following measures and processes have been agreed and will be jointly deployed as the priority commitment in all workplaces.
The joint activities set out in this statement are also seen as the first step since the dispute to rebuild industrial and employee relations and to improve the overall workplace environment. Given the immediate and unprecedented scale of the challenges we now face, this is also an opportunity to build a greater understanding of the environment the business is currently operating in, whilst developing positive actions and mutual interest solutions to secure our future.
