It has been a busy month for the CWU this month and CWU news brings you information on all the top stories from around the union. This month these include, information on the recent ACAS facilitated deal between the CWU and Royal Mail. The CWUs support for the proposed Robin Hood Tax and good news from the ongoing discussions with BT on pensions and pay. Good news from Westminster as the Government agrees to consult on amendments to the Dangerous Dogs Act and the public give a positive response to the proposed Post Bank. As pay talks at Virgin enter the final stages the CWU reject O2′s ‘final offer’ on pay deals and Andy Kerr responds to the disappointing news from the European Commission on the Orange T-Mobile merger.
